螃蟹的泡泡

I was in a hurry to pick up Anju.  I always rode on sidewalk.  I thought cars pull out of driveway would stop and look.  Then I was sided by a neighbor's car.

He wasn't going fast...lucky me.  He "touched" either me or the bike on the side.  I had no choice but fell...to my left...lucky me again, w/ back of head hitting ground... got helmet.  At 1st I could only feel sudden and sharp pain on left elbow and couldn't get up.  But, I had to get up ASAP, b/c I needed to hurry to pick up Anju.  I had no time to either lecture the driver or deal w/ him.  I was on my bike again w/ left elbow kinda limping.  On my way to school, I started to feel more pain/sore on left side of body.  No bone was broken...lucky me.

Can you imagine rain in May?!

I have been livingin west coast of US for yrs, and I don't remember rain after March.  Climate is acting weird.  Some say it's global warming.  Some say it's the cycle, and we are heading toward mini ice age.  Whatever it is, I am happy.

Ever thought cancer would hit anyone you love?  It was a horrifying experience.

I got an email from my cousin Jean, which I thought was a bad bad joke.  After few minutes of wondering, I realized it was not a hoax, but I spoke to my dad just the day before!  I wrote back to Jean and was told that my mom didn't want to worry me.  My god!  I called my dad but found nothing new (I got basic information from Jean.) and none of my questions were answered.  That worried me.  I wanted to go back to Taiwan before surgery, but it was too late to book the flight to arrive prior to the surgery.  So, instead of shortening my trip to in-laws', I decided to stay the full trip and to fly back to TW the day after we returned to Palo Alto.  Luckily, Rajiv's parents were able to help out w/ kids.

今年8月Akash也要上學了(kindergarten)
現在雖然也是在學校(preschool)

大學時對campus bus嗤之以鼻
開車才方便啊

感冒
不是什麼大病

離開台大後就沒再握球拍了
一直想再打球
